Women Development Cell
The Women Development Cell will look after the welfare for the Women employees/students, facilitate redressal of their grievances and shall cater to the issues/grievances concerning women employees. The will also conduct a survey within the organization and collect suggestions/ recommendations from women on issues concerning them so that appropriate action could be taken in the matter with a view to helping them.
The Women Development Cell will organize various programmes to ensure that wherever possible, the aspect of women’s development is promoted through these programmes and a component for women’s development is introduced in all the activities.
The Women Development Cell would promote all round development of women employees/ students of the Institute, through Camps, Events, Health care awareness, family care assistance, training for skill formation etc.
We have conducted Kavalan App Programme in our campus more than 200 students got benefited and Police Department from Madurai Main they explained the app to the attendees. It is the most essential app now a days lots of crimes are happening to avoid from them if they have this app in their mobile on the spot they can easily communicate to the police and they will act immediately before the crime happen.
We have conducted Awareness Programme for Law and Order in our campus more than 300 students got benefited.
We have conducted Health Awareness Programme in our campus regarding health hygiene more than 250 students got benefited, Vadamalayan Hospital Main Branch Doctors explained to the attendees the essentials of health hygiene in a clear manner.
We have conducted Child Helpline Awareness Programme in our campus this also Vadamalayan Hospital Main Branch Doctors explained to the attendees the essentials of Child Helpline in a clear manner.
And also we have conducted Health Hygiene Programme in our campus with Himalaya Health Care Products representatives from Madurai branch they explained to attendees the essential of Health Hygiene in a clear manner.
We have conducted A Three Day Fevicryl workshop and 50 students were given training on Crafts work such as Making of Jute Bags, Jewellery, Pen Stand and Paintings of different types (Mural, Kurti, Pot and Decoupage).
