Dear Students, Teachers and Parents
It gives me immense pleasure to inform that Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College (Autonomous) has its deep root in the field of education in the Heritage and Temple City, Madurai. The role of our college in the present day is to pursue academic excellence and to motivate the students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and kingmakers. I wish to provide a platform for the students to express and expose their skills and encourage them channelizing their potential in the pursuit of moulding their character with academic excellence.
I strive hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academics, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

I also encourage our learners to see the world from a global perspective; our learners are taught to become independent through many experiences within and beyond the classroom, whereas technology is embedded in the learning process to enhance creativity. In the words of Swami Vivekananda, “Education is a panacea” and I inculcate our students to eradicate all social evils and by educating them we can secure the future world.
I also instruct them how to build strong supportive relationships, understanding their own impulses, and developing empathy for others.
Inspired learning starts with exceedingly enthused and proficient teachers. All our teachers are academically qualified and experienced and the learning does not stop there but continues forever.
Our efficient teachers create opportunities for intellectual risk-taking, collaboration, problem-solving, and application of classroom learning to real life situations and also implement strategies that promote ownership of learning to students. I assure that our students will contribute to the local and global community in a collaborative and respectful manner in near future. A systematic development and overall confidence building through bridge courses, weekly programme, workshops, seminars, and conferences is unique in our institution.
