Human Rights Club
The Human Rights Club was founded to inculcate basic concepts relevant tohuman rights. The main aim of this Club is to promote the protection of andrespect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
This club facilitates students by providing information on Human Rights relatedtopics. To orient student’s regarding basic rights, programmes such as seminars,guest lectures and quiz competitions have been conducted. Presenting human rightsas an active force for social justice is the key to a successful and inspiring club.
Objectives:
To impart knowledge on historical and present-day issuesrelevant to human rights and to spark a lifetime of activism forpositive social and behavioural change.

The vision of human rights cell is to visualize a comprehensive society where everyone takes responsibility to promote and preserve human rights

Is to promote, preserve and implement human rights through effective institutional policy development, capability building and control of human rights violations

- Creating awareness through guest lectures on various human rights and to educate the students how to prevent themselves against violation
- Showing the short documentary films to students and discussing it with them.
- Conducting Quiz programmes on human rights issues.
