* Participated in a regional workshop organized by The Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed to be University), UBA Regional Coordinating Institute (South Zone), Gandhigram, Dindigul District; Interacted with UBA National Coordinator, IIT Delhi, for the effective functionality of UBA.
* Participated in ‘GramaSabha’ meetings of adopted villages, and unique challenges of the villages are identified.
Based on the challenges of the adopted villages, eight project proposals were presented to UBA; among them, three were sanctioned.
* UBA- Focused Village Survey is in progress to trace the additional challenges in the adopted villages.
* A specific WhatsApp group is created by the UBA Organizing Committee of our college to create awareness about COVID-19 and facilitate panchayat presidents for better interaction.
* Participated in an online interactive programme on proposal development for community engagement by participating institutions in southern Tamil Nadu associated with the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad.
