Department of English

The department facilitates and motivates visually challenged students: currently, Mr.Samuel of M.A.English is completing his PG programme with the aid of braille and audio texts & lectures.

The department has spacious smart classrooms with LCD projectors and audio systems

The department, in addition to the general library, which has more than 4,500 books on English language and literature, also has a department library to facilitate more frequent and easier access for the students.

The department conducts special classes for NET & SET.

The department also has a well-scheduled remedial program for slow learners.
