Profile

The department of Information Technology was started in the year 2001, under the self financed section and is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. Department of Information Technology endeavors tomodel IT professionals with ethical and human values to restructure nations destiny.

The department offers Bachelor of Information Technology is a fulltime three year programme covering several aspects of computer ,networks and internet applications are presented to the students. The department has a strong commitment to brilliance in undergraduate education. Information Technology is one of the energetic department in our college, has over 130 students and 6 dedicated staff members.

The classrooms are designed with an IT environment equipped with projectors . The future plan of the department is to strengthen the research activities, entrepreneur development, maintaining the department alumnae portal and signing MoU with companies to facilitate placement.
