About the Department
The Department of commerce self-finance was founded in 1986 with the introduction of B.Com programme. In 2007 and 2016 new sections were introduced. Additionally, it provides certificate courses in Tally, Photoshop and DTP to help students more emplayable.
Our motto is ingrained in the department because its faculty members are diverse individuals. Using learner-centered teaching strategies like case studies, role plays, field trips, and project work, the department teaches the syllabus. The department offers value-added and co-curricular programmes in addition to the standard curriculum. Remedial courses are scheduled for worthy pupils.
The idea of teacher-student mentorship offers pupils a lifeline for significant personal development with support from the student body and teachers (ICON Association).
The commerce department has its loyal alumni found in all spheres of profession. They are the great inspirations to the present students. Our alumni prove themselves to the precious asset to the department through their support in all our endeavors. Our department has MoU’S with different industries for providing on the job training for UG students.
