Lab Resources
Department has very good infrastructure comprising of separate space for different laboratories. These laboratories currently have a variety of software and the newest hardware setups across multiple platforms. High-speed internet connectivity is available.
Dedicated high-speed Internet access with a 100 MBPS lease line available across the campus. There are four large, well-equipped computer labs with 230 PCs that have LCD projectors and can accommodate servers, printers, and UPS units. CCTV surveillance cameras are used to keep an eye on every laboratory.
Smart Classrooms
Smart Classrooms offer guidance on how to maximize ICT's potential for learning and career advancement both now and in the future.
A complete approach to digital education is Smart Classrooms. Features of the Smart Classroom: A sound system, laptop connectivity for both Macintosh and PC computers, and an LCD projector and projection screen positioned in the ceiling are standard features of smart classrooms.
There are six well-equipped smart classrooms in our department. It facilitates the modernization of the antiquated educational system. By improving reading comprehension, concept development, and academic achievement, it helps students and faculties receive an eminent education.
Department Library
The word ‘library’ is rich in tradition, meaning, and usage. Throughout the world, the ‘Library’ is considered as part and parcel of the academic set-up. It serves as the main resource center of information and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for faculty and students of the institute and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge. So, all students, faculty members and employees of the department are entitled to make use of the Library facilities.
The Department Library was started in November 2022 with around 170 books. The Library maintains an excellent collection of data books, occasional papers and other documents/materials. The library has a well-equipped facility for reading.
