Best Practices
Trade Fair (Mannar Biz) -Our students actively organized a Trade Fair, gaining invaluable hands-on experience for academic and become a Entrepreneurs. The dynamic platform exposed them to practical scenarios, offering insightful perspectives across diverse industries.
Our Department has established Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with reputable companies, facilitating training opportunities for our students. Through recent updates in our curriculum, we have implemented a Tally training program, ensuring soft skill development and enhancing placement prospects for our students.
The Department offers an ICT program for students. They participate in training, complete assessments, and receive a certificate, enhancing their soft skills in Information and Communication Technology for academic and professional growth.
“COMMCAPPS” Association Meet –Our Department organizing student-supportive programs covering Life Skills, Soft Skills, Trends in Technology, Guest lectures, Career Opportunity, Skill Development ,Entrepreneurship Development and Paper Presentation programme for all students conducted every year. These initiatives aim to provide a well-rounded education, preparing students for success in both personal and professional aspects
IIT Spoken tutorial courses for all students to improve their soft skills in Libre Office, Programming in C and Programming in C++, Python.
The Department conducts competitive examination like “Know Your Economy” offered by Scientific Research Association, Chennai.
Staff and students presented papers in International, National and State Level Seminars and Workshops in various Colleges.
Our final year both UG and PG students projects were published in International journal every year.
The Department students encouraged to donate blood at regular intervals to Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai. Whenever there in an urgent necessity for blood in the nearest hospital our students do volunteer immediately.
To enhance the student creativity and activity oriented classes our department offers well equipped smart class rooms in all class rooms for both UG & PG. It leads to better concept formation and improvement of their skills in academic attainment.
Our student entrepreneurs periodically participate in
"Buyer and Seller Meet"
organized by our college as well as other Educational institution and Annual Chithirai Fair conducted by Government.
