Admission Procedure

Aided Courses

  • Application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form. The application form can be obtained from the college office by paying Rs.50/- in person for U.G. Courses and Rs.60/- for P.G.Courses.
  • Separate application forms are to be submitted for each course.
  • Filled in application forms along with Photo Copies of the Mark statement, Transfer certificate & Community certificate should reach the office within 10 days from the publication of ‘+2’ results.
  • In the case of P.G.Courses, the applicants need not wait for the publication of the sixth semester results.
  • They can submit their application forms along with photo copies of the mark statements of the five semesters.
  • If a candidate provisionally selected fails to qualify in the sixth semester examination ,the seat will be forfeited.
  • Selected candidates will be informed by post. They shall present themselves along with their parent/guardian for an interview at the specified time. They should produce the following certificate (Original & 3 Photo Copies) at the time of the Interview.
  • Transfer Certificate, Mark Statement of Higher Secondary/Degree Examination(+1 and +2), Conduct Certificate, Community Certificate, Aadhar card
  • In special fees(per year), Red Cross Society 30, Certificate Course In Computer Applications Rs.500

College Time: Classes commences at 9.30 am and close at 3.30 pm.

 

Self-Financing Courses

  • Application for admission shall be made Online within 10 days from the publication of +2 results.
  • The follwing certificates should be kept ready before applying online.
    • Transfer & Conduct Certificate.
    • Mark Statement of +1 & +2 / Degree Examination.
    • Aadhaar Card.
    • Three Passport size Photographs of Applicant.
    • Community Certificate.
    • Conduct Certificate
    • Bank Pass Book
    • In the case of P.G.courses, the applicants need not wait for the publication of the sixth semester results.
  • Applications can be submitted with Xerox copies of the mark statements for five semesters. Provisional selection will be made on the basis of these marks.
  • If the provisionally selected candidate fails to qualify in the sixth semester examination his/her admission stands cancelled autimatically
  • No claim against provisional admission will not be entertained thereafter.
  • Selected candidates will be informed by post / mail / sms.
  • They should produce the following certificates(original & 3 xerox copies at the time of the Interview).
  • College Time: Classes commence at 8.30 am and close at 1.30 pm on all working days, The office is open from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

 

Admission Directive

  • All Admissions made are provisional and subject to the approval of the Madurai Kamaraj University and Director of Government Examinations.
  • The College has right to cancel the admission made, if the documents submitted are found to be false or the qualification of the candidate admitted is not approved by Madurai Kamaraj University.
  • All admissions made are subject to verification of the Mark Statement by the Director of Government Examinations and if the Mark Statement is found to be bogus ,the admission is liable to be cancelled and criminal action would be initiated against the concerned candidate.

 

Admission and Withdrawal

  • An academic year is divided into two semesters. Odd semester :June to October and even semester: December to April.
  • The eligibility for undergraduate course is a pass in +2 or any other equivalent degree as recognized by Madurai Kamaraj University.
  • At the time of Admission the candidates should submit original Transfer certificate issued by the Head of the previous educational institution.
  • Candidates securing admission through any malpractice will be sent out immediately.
  • Candidates will be permitted inside the classrooms only after the payment of all the fees for the semester. At any instance the fees paid will not be refunded.
  • The names of candidate, who do not pay fees within stipulated time, will be removed from the attendance register. However, the candidate can be readmitted at the discretion of the Principal/Director, provided he/she pays the readmission fee and penalty fee.
  • Students, who discontinue during the course of studies, will not be eligible for any fees concession/reduction.
